Well, I'm finished with my first month of cardio work and weight training, and it's going very well. Despite being the holidays, I was able to get to the gym at least 3 times a week, sometimes four. I worked at least once a week with my new trainer C., who is awesome!! She's kind and caring but still knows how to kick my butt! Anyways, the results so far are not stellar but keep in mind that we just had Christmas and New Years - it's a miracle that I didn't GAIN weight! I'm down 5 lbs. and 5 3/4 inches (1 inch from my arms, 1 inch from my chest, 1/4 from my thighs and 3 1/2 inches from my waist). Not bad eh? Well now the hard work starts because C. wants me to start a proper eating plan - nothing too radical, just common sense - cut-out all the crap in my diet. I'll keep going to the gym 3 to 4 times a week and meeting with C. once a week. She will do my measurements and weight again in one month. Ben and Paul are also going to start training with C. once a week - Ben wants to run a half marathon in May. I'll keep you posted on our progress.
